prefill syringe?

Can I prefill the syringe and have it ready to give the day before? Just asking if we go out of town because it might make it easier for the person giving it.

Insulin has been known to interact with the seal. Try filling a sample syringe with Kool Aid or food coloring to the same dose for comparison. Papa doesn't want synthetic rubber in his kitty.

Also if I'm not mistaken certain insulins will separate if you do that, you might want to ask on your specific insulin board
