Prednisolone and Levermir

Does anyone know if Prednisolone and Levermir can be used togather . On the side effect it says can have drug interaction.
Wonder if this means you might have to use more because of the Pred. or something else. Does anyone use the two drugs togather. Peg and Toby

Just talked to pharmacist where I got the levermir and she said the interaction with the prednisolone is that you may have to
adjust the dose to compensate for the pred. So it's like any other insulin. Makes me feel better because I just bought it yesterday. Thought maybe couldn't use It. Gave him his other insulin this morning until I found out if I could use it. Will wait till tomorrow am to give it now. Peg and Toby

Pred is a steroid and will very likely raise the BG and require a higher insulin dose. I had to raise the Lantus dose when my Bailey starte Pred.
