Interesting. My vets usually say to withhold food after midnight, and who knows when the procedure is to start, it's just fast them from midnight on.

My vet has me take my cat's AMPS and give him his regular insulin shot around 7:30 am. Then, he schedules our appointment for around 4 pm. This way, my cat misses his lunch but his insulin stays on schedule with no missed doses. This has worked out great for me and kitty.
