Does anyone know if any aspect of getting a CAT scan could cause bleeding while peeing? Could it be the contrast solution? Or the anesthesia?

The vet seems to think it could be stress, but this has never happened and Jessi has been through some pretty stressful experiences, so I'm doubtful.

Any info you have would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I answered you on your other thread on the LBL page. It could be FLUTD which can be brought on by stress. I suggested googling it.

Can you think of a reason why it would suddenly happen so severe just after a CAT scan with no prior clinical indications of UTI?

This has never happened to Jessi before. That’s why I wondered if any of the medications they give or anesthesia, the contrast substance, could be possible causes.
