Possible UTI

Lucy, Fred's non-diabetic sister (age 12) has been running to the litter box all evening -- doing nothing much. She managed a little fecal deposit, but no urine. She seems uncomfortable and wanted to go out (I bring everyone in at night). Now, she's lying on the gravel in the driveway. could this be a urinary tract infection?

Not sure what to do.

Kathleen,

Definitely take her today. Like anything and everything....the sooner you know what's going on, the better for Lucy. The simple fact that you're posting a behavior that is atypical for your girl is reason enough and a urine test is a piece of cake!
