possible FIP for Calley??

I've had two people see Calley and comment that she looks fat. Her stomach does look pot bellied. The rest of her is boney. With her vomiting I am so worried there is more going on than just diabetes.

Am I just being a hypochondriac??

There are numerous reasons for a pot belly with obvious weight loss. Worms, hernia, chylothorax, and more. Maybe discuss with your vet.

But is fluid accumulating in the "belly". In wet FIP there is fluid accumulation. There is also the dry form of FIP However, there are also other causes of fluid accumulation. What does your vet say?

The vet is out of ideas. The last time we were there she said she didn't know what was causing the vomiting and she basically has given up. I am going to wait a few days to see if the Lantus doesn't kick in soon and if not then i'll seek out the other vet we have here in town.

I had a cat have to be put down due to FIP....so I am sensitive to that. It was several years back though.
