Okay so this morning at 830 or so this morning I tested Pooper's glucose and it was 192. I decided to NOT give him any glucose because I wanted to see if it would drop any and I would wait 3 hours or so to test again. I just tested +3 hours later at 1130am and it was 125! This is the best I've seen him drop without any use of insulin. He hasn't had any insulin since 5pm yesterday.

Thats great news! Looks like he's on his way!!!!!

I don't know if you already are or not, but if you havent maybe try mini meals. I know the mini meals helped send Hidey on his way into remission and I can now say he has been diet controlled for 10 months. I break his meals up into several feedings a day.

I'm sure I am not doing it right but on the spreadsheet where it has the +1, +2, +3, etc..., I am using those numbers as hours of the day which I'm sure is wrong but I use it to make it easier for me to understand the chart. So when I do the initial BG reading and put that number in there, I test 3-4 hours later but I put that number in according to what time it is. For example, I tested this morning as a AMPM shot which was 192. Eventhough I tested 3 hours later which probably would be put in the +3 line I put it in the +11 line to represent 11am. I did that for every number so hopefully all of you will understand what it means now.

Yes he does eat mini meals of Fancy Feast before he starts sleeping most of the day. I know he ate more before I tested him earlier.

The + 3 is three hours after the shot. The +11 is 11 hours after the shot. It needs to be uniform so if you ever had a problem, someone who had never seen your spreadsheet before could immediately see his history and understand it.

The + values are the time after the shot. Like if yo get BG of 150 4 four hours after the shot you enter 150 under +4.
If you give a shot late and tke a BG at the time enter the BG in the + box corresponding to when you got the BG and annotoate the right hand side that you gave X units at + Y

Yeah now I know, but I'm going to go back and change all those values either. lol
