Poop Question

I just noticed Mego going into the LB and it appears there was a poop attempt. I say attempt because nothing came out and I heard some toots as well. He left a poop present in the LB overnight last night. How long should I wait for another poop before I'm wondering about constipation or something else? Since being on the wet food, he's pooping less and I would say about 2-3 days between poops in the LB.

Alright all of you poop professionals, who wants to take a stab at this one? :lol:

Cats can go daily to once every other day. depends on the cat. same as humans I guess. .. whatever is normal for you.

How was the (yuk) consistency?

Consistency was solid and OF COURSE there's a website. I should have known! :lol: I guess I'll start recording LB poops on my SS as well just to track his habits. Goodness, I don't think I ever thought I'd be doing that. :lol:

Solid normal? Solid hard and dry?

You can add a couple tablespoons of water to the canned food to help provide eniugh moisture. If you warm it, it may help encourage eating, too.

It seemed a little harder than his first wet food ones. He is still drinking quite a bit of water, but I will try adding water to his food too.

You could try a little canned pumpkin ( pure pumpkin - not pie filling) maybe 1 tablespoon a day.
