? Polysaccharide thickener in cat food?

A brand of cat food available here in India (Sheba) contains "polysaccharide thickener" as one of the ingredients. Their guaranteed analysis adds to zero carbs. I know guaranteed analysis values are only indicative unlike "as fed" values.

I was wondering if anyone has an idea about whether these polysaccharide thickeners added to cat food are the complex carbohydrates of the indigestible variety and I do not have to worry about giving them to Bandit?

Pectin Pectin is a kind of polysaccharide (Polymer of D-Galacturonic Acid) that is obtained from plant such as citrus fruit peel, apple peel etc. Pectin is a vegetable gum and food thickener that is used to make gel. In human digestion, pectin goes through the small intestine more or less intact. Pectin is thus a soluble dietary fiber.
