Checked Bell at +11, was 163, this is when we usually check and feed so she has her shot on time 6:00, held her off for an hour and now she is at 148, I had to feed her dinner, She is now a few minutes past shot time, not sure what is going on, we did give her the 1.5 this morning, any help greatly appreciated! I just dont understand, is the insulin lasting this ling during the day and not over the night? She was at 233 at +6 today, Im so confused

Should I try and give her any insulin tonight? I held her off from dinner as long as I possibly could, should we just go down to the 1u? I know she will eventually go up without any

Maybe just going down to 1u might help?

If you get a low number you should stall for up to an hour without feeding and test again. You could give a unit as long as you test.

Thanks, I did hold her off an hour and she was going down not up, don’t think she would’ve waited 2 hours past time for dinner, I did good to get her to wait the first time, I didn’t give her any since she she was dropping instead of going up, testing her now, I really hate skipping but her dropping from +11 to +12 is really confusing
