Robbie's having a wonky day for sure - so am I - it's 1.5 hours before his shot is due and he's 408 AND really needs dinner (I've been at a memorial today and not home the whole time - so he's only had a small snack) Should I - feed and shoot early and 4.5? feed and Shoot early but do 4? Feed him, hold off and just say blank it and shoot close to his PMPS?
Really no idea what to do now.

This is happening frequently (rising too early), and it seems as if he isn't getting 12 hours out of a shot. If you shoot the number you just got with 4.5 now, how much havoc does that cause with your schedule?

Well, it could be significant if I have to get up at 6am tomorrow to shoot but I can deal with it - I'm thinking of shooting him NOW it's only an hour early and trying to see what I get out of that - I think I need to start the climb to 5.00.

If he's not being his normal Robbie self and screaming for food, then I would feed him now to make sure he eats before giving him the shot, and shoot right when he's finished eating. It would be a "cat" thing to do to not eat after you give him the shot, just to mess with your head. Then he'd be screaming for food at some hour that you don't want him to eat. Just to be contrary!

well, you make a good point Carl although I think it would be a cold day in hell when Robbie wouldn't eat - seriously. I just made him the can with water mixed in and fed him about 3/4 of what was left after mixing it all up - and he perked right up and is chowing down quickly. So I'll end up shooting him about 45 minutes early which means maybe I can only shoot 30 minutes early tomorrow and be at 6:30ish instead of 5:30 or 6am. He's done eating so I'm going to prepare the shot. Fingers crossed.
