Hello-
When someone has a minute can you please review chance's flowsheet again? We've stayed at 5 units when above 200. We've had a couple drops in the 50s and he has been asymptomatic and went up after eating. My daughter gets nervous when he's in the 50s. I guess as a nurse, I don't get as nervous especially if he's eating. Should we do a reduction to 4.5 units or continue as earlier? I get nervous reducing too quick as he seems to bounce back up with sugars. I want his body to get used to experiencing lower, more normal blood sugars if that makes sense. @Suzanne & Darcy @FrostD
