Oh #$%^%$&&&%!!! meter(S) ran out of strips!!! now what??? I can't do AMPS

I have 2 meters 1 I recieved yesterday that works great with a small amount of blood but it came with just a few strips, I ordered the strips but they use a koerrier that doesnt work on weekends(!) and I have a meter from the vets, but it needs way too much blood and doesnt suck the blood up, I've used up all those strips to get a reading, but it just wont #$%^%$ work!!

I've advised not to shoot (on dutch forum) but because of joy's heart condition, if needed 0.10 or 0.20 just to give him someting to get his numbers down.

Oke, no time to explain, but he measures way above 450, do I give him 0.4 or 0.5 ?

I gave him a skinny 0.5
pfffff the stress, koerier rang at the door and brought the extra strips I ordered, I couldnt believe my eyes......
I didnt ask any questions on why or how they came to deliver them today.

That 'skinny 0.5' looks like a good bet to me.
Your kitty may be having a bit of a bounce from that low number yesterday... (Was that low number on a human glucose meter or Alphatrak?)

I use a human meter @Elizabeth and Bertie , I've put it in my signiture, but I'll rewrite it a little bit so it's iesier to read.

Thank you Eliz, for reminding me to breathe, I do forget sometimes, this is only my 2nd day and 5th day since diagnose, I'm a nervous wreck, but it gets better they say ....
