Hi PZI people,

How fun and enlightening to see your stories on Lu's Roll Call post. Can I suggest a way for you to easily Pay it Forward every day? Each time you post, post something on someone else's thread also. It can be a message of support or a hello or some advice on food or something that has worked for your kitty. You all have dosing experience; I'd love to see you post what dosing techniques work for you.

We need to have more voices represented on this forum. I know you are all busy, but posting one extra time when you post only takes a few seconds. Think how good it makes you feel to have several people post on your thread.

And please, when you see a new person post, welcome them. It's usually because they have been sent over from Health, and I know it must be discouraging to just see my name again.....

Thanks, Sue

Not a PZI user but I've been around a few years and seeing this post from Sue I decided to add my two cents worth. :-D

I would like to invite anyone who wishes to, to do a little forum hopping and come over for a meet and greet in Relaxed Lantus. Because as Lu so elegantly put in her Roll Call you're never alone in treating this disease. Just because we use different insulin our love for our sugarcats is the same. And while I have 3 currently on Levemir I'm always available to hold a hand or paw through a hypo. Or answers questions about how Lantus and Levemir differ from PZI.

Great idea Mel! I agree wholeheartedly - we need to be here for one another. The warmth and friendships I made here are friends I continue to be in touch with. And it's such a great day when you sign on and see friends and strangers posting on your thread! ALWAYS brightens my day! Share the love!

Hi Mel,

That's interesting and rather refreshing to hear. Thanks for the invitation.
I must confess that every time I've posted in a forum where I 'don't belong' I've felt rather like I've gatecrashed a neighbour's party!

Hi Sue,

I never realised until Lu-Ann's post recently that the Prozinc forum needs to be better supported. And I, for one, will certainly aim to post on someone else's thread every day here. And I'm starting here and now - with this thread!

Hugs,

Eliz
PS. Thanks so much for the truly phenomenal job you do both here and on the Health forum. :RAHCAT

You are so right. I've avoided posting feeling I didn't really know much. But I'm going to make an effort to at least support and encourage...and offer advice if I can. Everyone here did so much for me. I know sometimes just hearing a nice word is enough to lift you up some!

Thanks Elizabeth and Rachel. It will be wonderful to have more people responding. It has been years since I have a sugar cat, but I remember how good it felt to know other people cared enough to read my post and respond.

Liz and everyone for that matter I can't speak for all the ISGs but at least in Relaxed Lantus there is no one that doesn't belong. Got a cat? Love that cat? If yes to both then our doors are open and the welcome mat is out. In the 4 years I've been here I've used N, Lantus and Levemir and who knows someday possibly PZI so I try to have at least a general knowledge of them all. Only way I can do that is by stopping in places "I don't belong" and asking questions and reading condos. RL is a pretty tiny group so its always nice to see a fresh face in condos plus I think they get bored just hearing from me.

Haha it's a good reminder! Been having a terrible time connecting...first time I've been able to get here in a few days! More important than ever that we all contribute now with these tech issues.
