Please check Zoey's SS

Can someone please check Zoey's spreadsheet? I've increased her dose by .2 for the last week, and I don't know where to go now! One day she was in the greens midcycle, and the next day she didn't get out of the pinks. She seems to be staying in the yellows during the night, but daytime is crazy! Any suggestions you can give me will be appreciated.

It's hard to tell, Carol. If 10/10 represents an "average" daytime cycle, she is in the lower ranges a good part of the day. The good news is that she is in good ranges; the bad news is that she bounces. That cycle really looks pretty good.

If you want to push a little, you could up the dose for the pinks and above to 1.6. I'd stay with 1.4 for the yellows. If you decide to increase, be sure to do it on a cycle when you can monitor.

Thanks, Sue. Since I'm going to be gone for a couple of days and my husband will be taking care of Zoey, I will probably leave the dose as is for the time being. He does test before he shoots, but he can't do any other testing during the day. I guess I'm frustrated because she seemed to be doing much better a couple of weeks ago. I was shooting 1 unit in the yellows, which seemed to keep her in the yellows all day. After I increased the dose to 1.2, 1.4, 1.6 she climbed high for her pre-shot numbers. Where is best for her...pretty stable all day even though she doesn't go below the 200s, or lower during the day which seems to give high pre-shot numbers? The really high numbers she had last week really shook me up!

I agree it's confusing. At some points, it looks like 1.4 is a nice dose and doesn't cause the higher bounces. It's possible that the lower cycle on 10/10 caused the high flat cycle the next day (some cats bounce the next day, not the next cycle) but the 1.6 gave you the nice yellow pmps. One thing that might have happened to gum up the works there is that he might have still been dropping at pmps. If that is the case, that can explain the next bounce.

I think, when you get home, maybe plan to try 1.6 on a cycle you can curve and see what is going on in the middle of the cycle and see if that helps clear up the big picture. Meanwhile his dose with your DH seems very safe.

Well, she was 567 again this morning! I will test her at +5 which is when I need to leave town. I'll have my DH keep on with the same dose until I get home and can do a curve.

Thanks so much for your guidance! I need to learn to not get so upset when she has a really high number! She's just such a sweetie and I worry about her.
