So I know everyone here is responsible pet owners but I'm hoping we can spread the word.
I go out of my way to control animal population, too many of them and not enough homes due to carelessness and poor judgement.
For any of you who saw the rescue kids in Jerry's OTJ video I put my foot down there. Not only did I save their cute little butts and fixed every last one of them I paid out of pocket to spay their mom who had 2 back to back litters and really wasn't even healthy enough to and I wasn't going to let her die from a 3rd and keep the chain going. So I go out of my way to make a difference.
So I'm very unhappy with my friend right now. She had 2 boy cats and a girl, she only fixed the boys and not the girl. Pure laziness cuz you can get vouchers cuz the animal population is so out of control or here a local shelter does males for $25 or females for $45 - totally reasonable!
She took in a baby long hair siamese people said it was a girl she never checked and he was in fact a boy. He was mounting the girl and shes dumb enough to say he's getting her back and missing - they don't miss.
I took her male cat to get fixed in the beginning of february but she couldn't even manage to keep them separated and she's pregnant. I stayed up FOREVER to drop him off and pick him back up, I did 100% of the work and she couldn't even keep them separate once the mounting started. I'm so frustrated this is a person I've known over half my life without a lick of sense. I feel discouraged now cuz all I prevented is dad being able to knock up his children but if she keeps any child could knock up mom cuz kitties don't have common sense.
I just kind of needed to rant but in the end I'm hoping people will be like me and go out of their way to make a difference. Spread the word and end animal cruelty. Thanks for listening and thank you for hopefully paying it forward.
