I spoke with the vet this am and they pulled his catheter. She said she tried to do an exam on his legs due to the trouble walking that I thought was neuropathy. You can read about his drama yesterday here. She said he is still growling and he flipped out when she tried to examine his legs and back. He is the most chill cat you would ever meet. He always behaves like a gentleman at the vet and I can understand if he is having residual pain from the obstruction but he has been on pain meds all night. I am concerned it is something else and now they want to do xrays and possibly keep him again tonight. Should i be concerned about this personality change? or chalk it up to all the crap he has had to endure the last week? thoughts?

if an x-ray hasn't been done yet, i'd get it done. perhaps there is something other than a urinary obstruction going on, i.e. injury, clot, etc......
