PLEASE ADVISE, NOT SURE WHAT TO DO!

Spot was 95 this morning so we did not give him a shot. My husband just tested him and now he's at 389. Can he give him a shot NOW or do we wait until the evening? If we give him a shot now, do we have to wait until midnight to give him another shot?

Agree. Do not give insulin now. Just give insulin tonight as usual if bg is high enough, which it probaby will be. Your cat will be fine :YMHUG:

As a general rule, if you skip an insulin shot for whatever reason (forgot, bg too low, etc) just go about your day and give insulin at the next scheduled time.

We gave him his shot at 7:30 AM after the test which showed the 95. Please see his spread sheet for more details.
