Last night was 176 gave .25. Seems like she is sticking with 150's a.m. and 170's p.m.
Not sure if I gave .5 in a.m. it would keep her down at night. How long should I give current dose before increasing or should I increase?

Also a note that this week the night BG is "after" meal since I am giving her shot 2.5 hours later. Tonight I will test before meal and before shot.

I am wondering how low she is going midcycle. If she is in the 50 range, no, you would not want to increase. If she is in the 100s, then yes, a small increase might bring her down further - if you can monitor and are ready to intervene if she drops low.

Thanks Sue...I would never give her more even close to the 100's. I meant since she is in the 150am/170pm cycle now.

I plan to do a curve on friday and if she is her usual 150 that morning I will give her 0.5 and see how she responds.

Maybe I didn't explain it well, Paula. Her nadir or midcycle number (5-7hours after the shot) would let you know if you could increase by a smidge. So if she is 150 at preshot and 100 at nadir, she has room to drop and you could increase. If she is 150 at preshot and 50 at nadir, you wouldn't because she doesn't have room to drop further. Does that make sense?
