I can't believe I haven't posted since 12/28!!! I've been off work for several days between holidays...
Good news is PJ hadn't had any insulin since 12/28/13 a.m. (0.25u) until this morning  She was at 180 and I caved and gave her .25u which maybe I shouldn't have done. I hated to break her record of no juice since 12/28 but she's only given one double digit (99) on 12/30...she really likes that 160-179 range
I did a curve yesterday which is included on her ss if anyone can look to see if it reveals anything...only thing is I didn't get a 7pm reading which I really wanted to get since I would be starting back w/my regular work schedule today - got 3 error messages in a row so I didn't want to stick her again
I use a TrueResult meter and have been getting error messages about every 10th strip with every 50 count vials that I've bought and this is the 3rd or 4th vial! The first vial I used was a 25 count and never got an error message. I called them on the second vial and they asked for serial numbers, lot numbers, etc. and surmised that I wasn't doing it correctly just because I wasn't holding the monitor at a vertical angle from the blood. Anyway, I'm calling again when I get home and they are either going to replace the meter or refund some of my money for those test strips. Now it worries me that the numbers I've been getting on her may be correct...
