We are having a much better day.... Things started to really improve last night. However, I am concerned about how quickly he dipped down into the yellow. Per his R scale he should have gotten .5uR (he was just below the cut off for .75uR), so that is what I gave him. .5uR. I measured it again and again, put it by my sample syringe for comparison and it was a consentient .5uR dose. He just really wanted to dive down fast last night. I hope I do not see more reds in response.

However, on that note, I do not think that I will order the UltiCare VetRx syringes again.. The unit lines are a mess and some start at what appears a .5u and other a .25...

So many syringes have that problem, it’s maddening, It is why many of us use calipers to measure the dose. I would say being a big gulper, the tiny bit of variance won’t make much of a different to Pig, but for the small doses of R, it certainly would.

Paws crossed for no bouncing! :cat:

Okay... So, I have a wall calender with dosing information and all meds written down on it so I know exactly what needs to be done every day. I have a hand written journal of every BG test. I have organized supply / medical boxes in strategic locations around the house. I keep everything in his spread sheet.. I post here every day...

And STILL somehow forgot his L increase this morning!?!? How??? :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

I meant to remind you yesterday. One cycle won't make a difference. Now that you are at 20 units, you can go to 22 units tonight. And you'll be home to monitor, so all good.

Well.. He is bouncing to the moon tonight.. Lol. Okay, so not that high, but he is deciding to try out a different color for a bit. We made the push to 22uL and fingers crossed that this will be his break through dose. I really just want to see him down below the renal threshold. Yellow looks so much better on him. Tomorrow will be a very long day at work, so I will have food set out. I do not anticipate much movement on this cycle, but hope to see something on the next couple. Here is to pretty yellows!
