Good Grief Batman! Could this be it??

I am so excited I can not contain my JOY!! :D

I was wandering the grocery store today looking for more cat food and baby food. I purchased Sheba Perfect Portions.

There are 2 portions in a little plastic dish, each portion 1.3oz I gave each cat, 4, one portion. They all DEVOURED it. Barely came up for air! Including Mr Picky Pants - Harley! I was in tears watching them!

I don't believe I have ever seen Sheba mentioned on this site. It has decent numbers per Dr Lisas'chart. Carbs 3, Phos 236.

It is a bit spendy at .89 cents each. It is a Very soft pate and smells fabulous! I will purchase as a supplement. Any little bit helps I think.

I hope this works for others.

Sheba is a fine food. Probably near the same level as Fancy Feast. FF is more commonly mentioned though because of how affordable it is in relation to the positive attributes for diabetic cats (low carbs, quite high protein).

I tried the portions before. The non-diabetic cats loved it but of course diabetic Rocky just stared at it because he still loathes anything pate. I'm glad you found a low carb food that works for you though

The chicken was one of the foods I fed when I was first transitioning my girls to all wet. They loved it for a little while then didn't. I hope the love lasts longer for you. I consider it a little higher quality than Fancy Feast. It does not contain meat by-product, salt, fish and artificial flavoring like FF does. The phosphorous is also lower.

Aw man! @FurBabiesMama Ya broke my bubble. Last night I ordered 2 cases Sheba from Walmart! Well, they are still loving it this morning. :bighug:

Dogs are so much easier. They will eat anything....dog food, cat food, cat poop, TV remote controls, books, table legs, chair legs, 1 pound of butter etc. Man, them were the days!:woot:
