I'm curious, had anyone tried the calming plug in things? My little female, Maddie, is very skittish of my other 3 cats, even though she is one of the "elders!" They seem to pick up on her nervousness and are always tormenting her. I just wondered if they worked, if anyone had tried them?!

I have used Feliway/Comfort Zone plug ins. They helped with some marking behavior.

You might try a re-introduction process, by first separating them, then feeding on opposite sides of doors, then gradually increasing the exposures.

I was wondering the same thing! We have a kitten who adopted us by secretly riding home in the wheel well of our car..LOL. So...now he is ours. I spent alot of time introducing them and all was ok for a while. Now it is going in the wrong direction with marking, peeing and just plain old tormenting ozzy (our 10 yr old diabetic guy) Cosmo (kitten) is even causing my German shepherd stress! My husband is delicately suggesting Cosmo be more of an outdoor cat. Not to be mean but because of the concern of the added stress on ozzy. He is due to be neutered next week so I'm hoping that will help! Maybe the plug ins will help with re introduction after neutering??? Just really bad timing...we are in a new home , new state, new job, new to diabetes. And now new Cosmo..

Oh no! Well none of mine are new to each other, just think when they are feeling good and "frisky" they sense Maddie as being the shy girl and like to bully her!! I have learned so much on this website thought maybe someone had some input on these! Why can't life just be simple??!!

Pamela. Never does seem like life is simple. I too have already learned so much from this great group! Bjm, thanks for the link! Very informative. I've always had a cat and multiple dogs but never multiple cats so this is new and a challenge.
