I would like to listen from users on their experience using pen needles with small Lantus doses in fractional increments. I have try counting drops per unit to dose fractions of units and would not recommend the method because is not consistent; i.e. number of drops per unit is sensitive to pressure on the plunger, method of priming the pen and temperature. Would love to hear your experience doing this!

Most of us use syringes rather than the pen. I used digital calipers also for small dose changes. Actually I used tge calipers all the time.

The pens really don't allow for micro-dosing. There's a good chance that you would either over dose or be inconsistent in your dosing with the pen needles. Like Elise noted, we recommend using a U100 syringe.
