Hi all, I've attached an article I found about a drug called Pegvisomant, when combined with Cabergoline, lowers IGF-1 levels...the study is with humans. Wondering if anyone knows anything about this?

I haven't heard of it. You might want to send an email to Royal Veterinary College Diabetes Remission Clinic to see if they have heard of anybody studying it in cats. There have been studies of some drugs that work with cats that don't work the same as it does with humans. I'm sure RVC would know if there had been a trial.
Hello. I had never heard of it either. It's an interesting though difficult read. Dated 2012 looks as though some improvements achieved by combining the two, but apparently not spectacular enough to have shot to prominence. Doesn't do any harm to ask the RVC if they have heard of any animal trials, or if they have ever considered doing one themselves.
