Peeka dosing advice needed! AMPS 199

For reasons I will get into later, Peeka ate fancy feast pate last night and her BG is currently 199/200. I checked twice to confirm this number. Could someone please give dosing advice for today? My sister will be home but still doesn’t know how to test and I will have a shortened day.

I can't give dosing advice, but do what you feel comfortable with, unless anyone else has an answer for you.
But I probably wouldn't give a full dose, since vetinsulin hits hard and fast.

But hang on, hopefully someone with more experience stops by!

Upon recheck she was up to 245. I think I may be good for normal dosage this morning.

You know I cant give dosing advice either but. as long as your sister is near a phone and can call you, she should be able to handle this should things go sideways. Write out instructions for her in case she cant reach you. Let her know she can come here ok? She can always sign in with your address. We'll keep an eye out ...just in case.

Peeka you behave today

also look at Peekas history the last few days... that should be your clue on how to move forward. She starts dropping at +2 .Maybe give your sister a call (if possible) and ask how Peeka is acting?
