Good morning everyone!

More sweetness from Peeka yesterday, she wanted to snuggle up on the bed, which we did for almost an hour. I had to pick her up and place her on the bed, but she settled in and we had a nice time. At one point I had Boo and Peeka by my head and our dog Spike near my legs, it was adorable. Peeka woke me up around 1 for feeding, and again at 5:00 to eat, so all in all, more of her normal pre diabetic behavior. Stool has been a bit more firm the last two days as well.

Not much to report today, thankfully. Going to hope for continued low numbers and complete healing with her neuropathy. Still giving Zobaline twice a day and will probably continue to do so until I see drastic and total improvement.

Lovely update, Peter. :)

Just seen the big +1 drop today. If you're with Peeka, it would be a good idea to grab +2 and +3 tests - just to check that she's not getting too close to the 90 mark.

That +1 was actually a +1.5, I had to get into work a bit earlier today so I fed her right after getting that reading to hopefully pad her a little bit while we are gone. When I compared to the other numbers close to that, I felt ok leaving it. I think her 102 from Monday may have been from a lack of food before shooting. I thought the wife fed her after I tested and it turned out that she hadn't.

Awww Peter that sounds like heaven. :bighug::cool::bighug:
It was incredible, if not uncomfortable. Overall, it was a nice night. I have noticed Peeka being a little more of her affectionate self, sleeping near our bed, or waking me up to put her on the bed. Hopefully this is a sign that she is feeling better and not so crummy. She has also gone back to chewing paper, something she would do to get our attention pre diabetes. I can't explain why, maybe it's the noise it makes, but if there is loose paper around and she wants attention, it's getting chewed.

Thanks for the clarification that the reading was at +1.5. I was a little concerned when I took it as a +1 reading from your spreadsheet earlier, Peter, because that would have indicated a very, very early onset for Vetsulin (even for kitties who tend to be fast metabolisers).

Totally understand, I should have clarified. Her numbers have been all over the place the last few days, just when I was starting to feel like we had a handle on things, she has her bout with pancreatitis and now I can’t figure out her numbers lol.

(((((Peeka))))) Peter you are a good cat daddy. and will make an even better human daddy:bighug:. Do you guys know the gender of your baby or is it going to be a surprise? (Or is that a rude question???) if it is dont answer :p
Thanks Jeanne, I appreciate it! We are having a girl, we found out back in June. Had a social distanced gender reveal at the park we got engaged at. We are extremely excited. A little under 2 months away now from delivery date, so if you don’t hear from me for a few weeks in December, that is likely why.
