Though I have looked at the label comparing it to Fancy Feast they seem almost the same, but I wanted to know who has more experiences or able to advise if this food is as good (and safe) for my Buddy. Not to mention it is a little cheaper than FF at my local stores and it would help in the kitt budget.

You'll need to track down the "As Fed" values from the manufacturer to compare nutritional profiles.
Another option is to switch the food slowly by mixing in a bit more each meal and monitoring the glucose levels for evidence of impact. A switch of about 25% per meal seems to reduce digestive upsets such as inappetance, vomiting, or diarrhea.

There are many grocery brand type foods that are nearly identical to Fancy Feast and ok to feed--while it's good to have the as-fed values, they're hard to get from many of these companies. However, you can determine that the food is very likely low carb from the ingredients. If there is no corn, wheat, soy, rice or any other listed starches or grains (or any ingredient with "meal" at the end), then the food is going to be low carb. You may not want to feed these types of foods with senior cats, though, as they do contain a lot of byproducts (and likely have higher phosphorus levels).

Hi Mike. Sorry, I can't answer your question. I was just replying to say "Hi", it's good to see you. I hope you and Buddy are doing well :)
