Hi everyone!

Quick question. Does anyone have kitties who have scaly paw pads? I am attaching a picture. I'm not sure if it's related to her Cushing's Disease or what.

Also, both my diabetic/cushing's cat and my normal cat have some nails that are really thick, making them nearly impossible to trim. They have had them for a little while. When I try to trim them, they seem to flake.

Anyone else experience this? Is it likely because they are indoor only cats? I'm attaching a picture of that too but it's a little blurry because I'm on my own and she wasn't very happy about me inspecting her paws.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, even before his diabetes diagnoses and when he had access to the outside, his paw pads always looked dry and his nails thick and easy to split when clipped. I threatened to put lotion on them.
