Well, guess what. I sort of indicated to PK that she should pee and she did, in an empty litter box. The strip was either negative or trace. It shook out easy, the strips were in the fridge overnight, and I counted to 15 (but it stayed that same puce color after)
I still smell a little of that smell on her breath but I have very fine odor discrimination.
So you guys can relax, and I can relax until Tuesday. It's just a question of who's going to write the prescription.
Also, she started eating the Salmon Classic Fancy Feast. I took a Gravy Lovers can and physically squeezed the gravy out of its contents (my other cat will eat the flakes). Then I put a little of that, not much, on the salmon paté.
And then she went outside.
