Thanks for you're warm welcome yesterday and all the great advice. I offered Patootie a second feeding yesterday... hoping that will help with some weight gain. I tried putting out the frozen ice cube food and watched her gnaw on that for a bit as soon as I put it down... not sure if that road will work for her as I have to put it out pretty early in the morning (about 1 1/2 hours after her AM shot) and with her being so ravenous she will attack it as soon as I put it down. I'll give the timed feeder a try today since I can watch and see if my other cat gobbles it or Patootie does (knowing her once she figures out there is food in it she will be laying by it!!
) But I do think the second feeding helped. She seemed a bit less frantic at regular meal time. However, with the increase in food it looks like I will need to compensate by increasing her dose as well. I'm thinking I'll give her another day or so on 1u and then make a little bump.
