Still syringe feeding Patches the Royal Canin RS recovery food. She is off insulin for about 2 weeks now....I spot check her and she runs between 85 - 120!!!

Was at Petsmart today and bought some liquid supplement called Nourishcat for senior cats from GNC Pets (I think it may be similar to Clinicare)....well of course, she took one lick and hated it. But it is very syringe able also. Don't see any mentions of sugars, but it is probably higher in carbs. Anyone familiar with this?

Here she is sitting on daddy's bed hiding from me........

oh man. i am at a crossroads to get a feeding tube for Patches. I think it would be beneficial, but my hubby is not on board with it. I tried to tell him it would not be a permanent thing. When Butchie, my kitty that had SCC, had his feeding tube in, hubby saw that it helped, but that with the SCC, he passed anyway. I think this put a damper on the whole feeding tube issue. BUT, I am going to keep pushing him. I told him this is a while other issue. There was no coming back from SCC no matter what I did. :'(

I am taking her for some follow up blood work hopefully tomorrow to see if she had kidney issues or pancreatitis or what the explanation is for her still not wanting to eat. Her diabetes has been running 85 - 120, so I have her off insulin, but she still has no appetite. She is on pepcid, cerenia, appetite stimulant and fluids, but.....................
