Panic won't eat - HELP

Not a 911 yet but I need help TODAY.

Last night Panic started to eat her dinner then turned her nose after a minute and wouldn't eat. After a few minutes of coaxing she finally ate. She ate her PM mini meals.

This morning she went for the food then and turned away again so I offered her some chicken which she mouthed and then spit out and walked away. I added some Parmesan cheese and she was interested enough to take a bite but again walked away. I gave her full dose but she sounds like she may be nauseous?

No history of ketones or DKA, though she is indoor/outdoor and I don't usually catch her using the bathroom since she mostly goes outside so I haven't had the opportunity to test lately.

I have Famotidine in my Amazon wishlist written down when someone mentioned keeping that on-hand to use for nausea, should I get some in this instance for her? How fast does it work?

While I was writing this I got up and tried to hand feed some chicken to her again and she DID eat some pieces, then went for her regular food. After a minute I walked off to finish writing this, peeked at her a couple minutes later and the dog had eaten her food UGH. The dog is afraid of her though and won't push her out of the way to eat so Panic more than likely decided she was done and left.

When was Panics last dental? So many Vets over look their mouth and teeth. Sorry if this isnt the case. Otherwise I try fortiflora. I know know its not the panacea of the food world but thats what I use. Sending eating vines for Panic
 
She hasn't had one, hadn't thought about that. Vet did compliment her teeth last year though. They do look good visually at least and no funky breath. I will read up on the fortiflora!
 
Famotidine is the generic for Pepcid so you can get it any store. I usually give my cats 1/4 tablet. Make sure it is the original Pepcid AC and not extended release. The only active ingredient should be Famotidine
 
I'll pick up some Famotidine today since it looks like fortiflora isn't local. I have written down 10mg, I'll add original Pepcid AC too so I don't forget. How long does she get it mixed in her food, until she feels better?

Right now she's acting like she could eat a horse so idk what her deal is!

The dose is 1/4 of 10mg. It is bitter and if mixed with food the food might not be eaten. I place it (when I use it) in a gel cap and use a pill gun to pill. Famotidine is a stomach acid-reducer not a general anti-nausea med. Ondonastran is a general anti.-nausea med

Oh, how do I know which one I should use then?
 
If Panic is attempting to eat, I doubt the issue is GI upset. My first thought was dental, too. With an outdoor cat, it's possible that a tooth was chipped and there could be a nerve exposed which would be painful when Panic tries to eat.
 
Hmm I see. She didn't do anything odd (licking etc) this morning but she did want to curl up and be left alone a few minutes. At this point though she's completely normal and begging for food again. She isn't chewing odd/on one side or anything noticeable. I still need to schedule a check-up so I'll have the vet give her teeth a look.
