Catee is still slowly going up. He was in the 300 range on the alpha trak this morning and 236 relion. Nadair last night was 152 Relion. PMPS 215 Relion.

I increased this morning to 0.7 units and also switched out the Purina DM to EVO. Thought I would see if he would eat it. If not I will give him back the Purina.

Should I take him to the Vet? Just seems strange that his numbers came back down and now going back up again. He acts okay. Is drinking a little more water but his urination seems normal. Eating a little more but not a entire bowl.

If some of you all have time take a look at his spreadsheet, especially stating in July, I would appreciate it. That seems to be when all this started. I did buy a new insulin thinking it was that but not so sure.

I hope he will eat the EVO food and maybe that will bring it down. I will get a afternoon nadir as well today.

I don't know. I wonder if, over time, the higher carb food just starts a kind of resistance to the insulin. It isn't something I have seen, as most people go to lower carb. (I understand why you can't and that you have tried). But it might make sense. People who have to use steroids, for example, just increase the insulin to compensate.

But, it is odd that he did maintain for such a long time. I think I'd go to the vet and see if anything else is going on. Have some blood work and a urine test done maybe. And meanwhile, I'd up the dose a bit.

Thanks Sue. Afternoon nadir was low because he did not eat a much of the EVO at all. Just nibble at it. Brought in the Purina DM and he went crazy eating it. I will up the dose. I wondered about insulin resistance myself. It will be next week before I can take him to the Vet because of some family problems going on right now. I will get him there though. Thank you again.
