WCR: Day 14!!!! I KNEW she'd make it. :D WTG, my "Lil Mama"!!! I am so very, VERY proud of you, my precious little sweetheart!!!! So VERY proud!!!! After almost 5 years, I FINALLY got her OTJ!!! Her annifursary date is March 13, 2010.

This morning, I woke up when the alarm went off at 5:50 a.m., but I was a bit late in getting everyone fed. Even her test was a bit later than normal. She ate it all, which is always a good sign. Her weight's coming up nicely, and not too quickly. Another good sign. All in all, she's doing remarkably well without insulin. I just wish that all the kitties on here could do as well as Blackie, and I'm sending you all tons, and tons of positive vibes for you all to experience what I'm experiencing. It really, truly is an awesome feeling to experience, if a bit surreal still. LOL

Now, perhaps this Mama Bean can maybe sleep in a bit...? Maybe...? I'm sure that I'll still be getting up before 4:00 a.m. to feed her the snack, and then going btb aftewards to try and catch up on some much needed sleep. I'm beginning to think that sleep's a bit overrated anymore. LOL

Sending tons of healing vines, positive thoughts and prayers to whoever needs them.

MY WISH: For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For everyone, including Blackie, to have great #s... For everyone, including Blackie, to be permanently OTJ.

Day XIV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Angela, your love for your little girl, your enthusiasm for her success, and your infectious joy at the cusp of this most wonderful day....so rewarding. So uplifting. So contagious!

Happy, happy, happy for you both!

Marilyn and Polly

Thank you so very much, ladies!!!

Laura: I AM so very relieved, and very much blessed. Thank you! :D

Sandy: Love that video!!! Thank you so much for sharing. :D I hope that all the boys on here can master those steps before the pawty begins! :D hehehe

Marilyn: Thank you! I hope that our joy is infectious enough to help all of the kitties get to where we are. If that makes even a remote bit of sense, that is. LOL

Michelle: Thank you! You've seen our trials and tribulations on here over the years, and you've been following us since the beginning. Thank you for continuing to be here for us, as well as the others on here. Now, I'll be a-visitin' like you are. :D We can hang together with the people on here. :D I'll bring the coffee, can you get the danish or donuts to share? :D

Elise: Thank you! I hope that you and Max will be attending her pawty. It won't be the same without everyone there. :D

Milo's Mom: Thank you! :D

Wonderful, Blackie!!! Noodle is having some catnip in your honor!!!

Congrats, Angela!!! What a testament to your dedication and hard work!!! Take some time to revel in the joy of it all!!

Yippe Skippe Blackie!!!

So, so proud of you......now we best start a list of all the fun things momma can do with all that free time she will have because you don't have to be tested every day!!!

April: Thank you! :D

Patricia: Hehehe... No, I won't have to test her every day, that's for sure. All that extra free time will be spent doing some much needed commission stitching, for sure. I have 3 projects that are currently on the go as we speak. One of them is rather large, another is a Christmas stocking, and a 3rd is an unfinished needlepoint that was sent to me to finish. I need to get the extra yarn for that, though.

Molly: Thank you! Blackie really hopes that Skooter can make it, and if not in person, than perhaps over a Skype session so that he can see the festivities happening like he's there. :D

Happy, Happy, Happy DAY 14 Blackie and Angela!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D :cat:

YOU DID IT!! And almost to the day of your 5-year Annifursary! We are so excited to party tonight. Chef Rusty is putting the finishing touches on the party menu and rounding up the Kitchen Krew.

Angela, I think you'll have to keep getting up at 4 A.M. because it's part of Blackie's routine!!! And, as we all know, our kitties' routines are very important to them. (Of course, you can begin transitioning her to a new, more bean-friendly, routine:p)

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Ella: Thank you! Umm... I think I'll stick with what works for her. LOL I DON'T want to be messing up those #s, you know? LOL

Vyktor's Mum: Thank you! I love, love, LOVE your smilies!!! :D

Ann: Thank you! And I agree... "Oh wow!" LOL :D Hard to believe, isn't it? :D

Absolutely Fabulous! Congratulations on making it to the falls after all these years. What an amazing accomplishment.

oh my, how absolutely wonderful; something for a newbie to hang onto for hope....congratulations and enjoy your well earned sleep! big happy dances for you and Blackie!! Impressive achievement!

Wish granted. (or at least, part of it!)

Totally, unbelievably AWESOME!!! One of my favorite benefits of having my FD kitty go OTJ (aside from the obvious ones for the kitty) was that I didn't have to plan my life around shot time, and if I wanted to go out for dinner,or spend a little more time shopping in the afternoon, there was no stress about being home in time to t/f/s!! Enjoy that freedom, Angela. You've certainly earned it. I could not be happier for you, after all you've been through with your "Little Mama". :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Tricia, I am certainly looking forward to this freedom now. My husband and I haven't been out for dinner in a very long time, and we typically eat a late lunch instead. His birthday is coming up on the 20th, and I'm hoping that we'll be able to go out for dinner on his day, instead of linner. LOL

Peg: Thank you! Honestly, I had to admit that I had my doubts, and I'm sure that it has shown through in our posts over the years. Blackie is most certainly a very strong kitty. :D

Deanna: Thank you! :D
