I would like to thank the academy...

No, really. Much of the credit here goes to Mala's DH, Davey. He was the one who, bleary-eyed, got up with the sun and bled the kitty's ears, prepared the shot, and fed her. He was the one at home in the evening doing the same. I was the communicator - posting, then relaying advice to him. Mala owes her life to Davey C.

And, of course, to the marvelous folks who held our hands, taught us protocol, and were patient with us while we re-learned the ropes. Thank you to everyone here who encouraged and supported us.

I hope all the kitties here eventually find their way to the falls with Mala. I don't know why she jumps back into remission so quickly and comparatively easily, but she did the same thing in 2005. Thank god we found this board then, and thank god we found it again this time. I am grateful beyond words.
