I’ve always said he’s part dog.. part chicken and the rest is cat. He likes to drink from the toilet.. lol. He has a fancy water fountain and multiple water stations … but always chose the toilet first. Or maybe it was from too much catnip from partying the night before

We’re working on the diet portion … but he’s gotten used to his multiple meals and knows when I’ve cut back on the portions, lol

Thanks Wendy! He definitely got to eat whenever he wanted… now the challenge is to maintain his weight (maybe lose a pound or 2) he still eats every 2 hours (nothings changed lol) and he knows when I didn’t give as much as I usually do! He looks at me like, where’s the rest..?

Also, you haven’t got rid of me, yet! I’ll be here rooting for so many others as they have for me this is like one big family <3

Ok. It’s been a long and exciting day, I’ve read everyone’s messages and want to thank each and every one of you

I just have to say how much I truly love this community! The support and love that everyone has shown over the months is overwhelming. With a disease that affects your furry loved ones, that keeps you home most often, it was so relieving to have an extended family to turn to that just gets it.

I have to do two shout outs... I would tag everyone (I hope you know who you are ) but there were two that I really need to mention @Bandit's Mom, you have been there from the very beginning, you are my mentor (whether you like it or not ) you took us in and guided me through it all and stuck with us on nights when I needed you most. I’ve learned so much from you and I’m so grateful for everything, thank you! @tiffmaxee The moment Gus started daytime partying, you stepped in and really took interest in our journey, I thank you for being there for us, your advice and support means a lot. I’m pretty sure your increase threat gave Gus his first lime green (31), he really liked to prove you wrong, lol boy was that a crazy few hours but we got through it with the best step by step guidance on how to deal with it.

Like I said, I could tag so many more of you, your daily messages and pop-ins were so wonderful. I’m going to miss posting everyday… no joke! I may not be posting daily but I’ll still be checking in on you all!!

This journey is not over, we’re just in a new phase.
