This is such an exciting day for Freddie and I.

First I want to Thank Carolyn and Big Mac from the bottom of my heart for making this awesome video of my Freddie and his brothers. I totally love love love it. You are the best!!!

I want to Thank everyone who has stopped by cheering us on and partying with us. Also the ones that have just come to visit...many many thanks to all.

Pippi left us a year ago the 28th of this month but I feel he is with us today in spirit and always in my heart.

It felt so good to get up this morning and not have to pick Freddie's little ear first thing in the morning. He was happy too, but I don't think he was minding the picks anymore. I finally learned how to do it without hurting him...we came a long way in such a short time.
With reading all the valuable information on this FDMB site and all the postings we are able to learn so much TY everyone for all of this and Many thanks for this board. It is all here and the people make it happen.
Everyone has given something!
FOOD is so important in treating Diabetes. No Carb food or real low carb food is when Fred's numbers came right down. I know I will always have to watch him and do testings and just pray that he stays low. I can't slack now! :RAHCAT

Congrats to both of you! awesome job, yvonne - ya got right with the program and learned what you needed to know - and look how well Freddie's done!

For forever, he's still diabetic, just diet-controlled. Low carb food reigns! Stay away from steroids and sugary meds unless they are unavoidable. keep his toofies clean - dental problems can throw cats out of remission. Test him once a day for a while, once a week for a few months, then once a month. if he ever seems off or sick, test his blood sugar asap.

and good luck! We're cheering for the honeymoon to last a long time!
