Good news, it's official...Quincy is OTJ. Teh vet called after reviewing my latest glucose curves that I had submitted. Quincy is ready to host the official OTJ party....what...oh okay...he has something to say...
Meoooooww----come over to my house for an OTJ party...***hic-cup*** it's time to schel-a...no celebrate my freedom from the juice day...
(The bean takes over the computer again as it appears that Quincy has started the party early...
)
I am so happy for us. We were rigourous in testing at home, giving insulin every 12 hours and changing his food. The vet commented that she wished all her clients with diatbetic cats were as compliant with things as we were. I plan to occasionally spot test him over the next little while just to be sure he is really okay and never, ever will a dry food kibble pass through him again.
Thanks to everyone here for all the invaluable information that I learned from this site. I plan on staying a part of it. Maybe my experience will help other Caninsulin users.
