When I switched the wet food to Fancy Feast for Wesson, I just switched both cats to it. My other cat Smith is now having constant diarrhea on it. Their old food was a prescription diet full of carbs, so do not want to go back to that either. Any recommendations on a food to try with him?

Which flavours of FF are you giving? Just wondering if you can narrow down a protein that's causing the runs. Fish, chicken, beef are common allergens. You could also look at the ingredients of the old food to help you narrow down acceptable proteins if the old food worked for him.

I have been getting the cases of FF Poutry & Beef Classic Pate from Chewy. It's the Tender Beef, Chicken Feast and Turkey & Giblets. They were on the Hills Urinary c/d canned and dry previously.

Can you try an experiment of just the turkey and giblets for a bit? C/d has pork, chicken, fish as proteins. Might be a beef issue?

I started that today after you said chicken and beef may be an issue. Let's see if it helps.
Look at the ingredient closely a lot of formulations include fish and that is not in the title but show in the ingredients. Food titled LID (Limited Ingredient Diet) do not include proteins not listed in the title. A lot of these LID diets also use novel proteins like duck because some cats can't tolerate the common proteins like fish and chicken.

All good ideas above. Did you switch all at once or gradually? If the change was done quickly that could explain it as well.

Gradually switched them both back in October. Maybe Smith has developed an allergy to the other proteins or something? I have kept him on the turkey & giblets and the diarrhea has resolved.
