Greetings Dear Lantus Land Friends...We have been home for a couple of weeks and are so thrilled with our new house...It is really beautiful & the contractors finished just last week. Now all we need is furniture and we are all set... :mrgreen: -We love our house soooo much!!
It has been a long hard road to come back here, we had so many losses this year.. The House, Moonie, DFIL, and my dear friend passed 2 weeks ago. Yet, we still are trying to get back to our Life again-It's not so easy. they say we here in Long Island are still going through PTSD, and I think they are right..Only to be compared to those in Oklahoma! God Bless them! OMG! But you must fight & come back when one is ready..

I have not gotten a new kitty, I just am not ready, and still miss Moonie with all my heart..I look for her everywhere, and once in a while I feel something jump on the bed, or hear a little mew, but that is all I have gotten so far..MY cousins stopped by & one said she felt the black cat in the guest bedroom, and the other cousin said "you mean there is no cat in this house? I felt a cat here so much?? Isnt there a black & white one here?" So I guess they are more perceptive than me right now--It's about 3 months, but we do want to do some traveling..AS a gift for our 35 anniversary, we are going to Aruba in Dec., with the DSILS, as they have a big condo there! So I am looking forward to that!
My DH isnt retiring as he planned, due to us using all our home equity money on the house, but that;s ok :lol: :lol:
So onward and Upward as Barb would say--Sending My Deepest Love to all of you.. I miss LL, My Dear Family, Know that I think of you all and the Amazing 5 years we spent here--Love to all and Keep those Kitties Blue and GREEN!! Hugs and Lots of Love from us--

(((((Ronnie))))) We are sooooo happy to see your "condo"! ;-) :lol: We are so sorry about your friend. :sad: You have had so many losses this year, it's almost impossible to comprehend. We miss the Moon Child too, it just isn't the same in LL without Moonie. I've been thinking that you had moved into your house and hoped all was going well. Thank you for posting. Big hugs from us!

I am glad to hear you are back in your house.
The anniversary trip sounds like something good to look forward to.
And I can very much empathize with the wait .... Every thing has it's time and place ... you'll find the right cat when it's time , when you are ready.
Still keeping you in prayers ...
I saw on the news today that the hurricane season could be another stiff one again this year so definitely praying for that not to happen.

Roni, I'm glad to see a condo from you. That's great you are back home. I'm sorry about your friend. You have definitely had a rough year. It will take time to get back on track. You will know when the time is right to give another kitty a loving home. Your anniversary trip sounds great. I hope you have a good time. Sending prayers for you and your family.
 
Hi, ((Roni)), your house sounds wonderful. After all you and Brad have been through, you deserve to be finally back in your home. Your anniversary vacation will be so nice and relaxing; it's nice to have something like that to look forward to.
I'm not surprised Moonie's presence can be felt; she will always be there with you. Such a special girl. We all miss her. And we miss you. Thanks for the update ~ I think of you often.

Roni - It is so great to see you here, and to know you are back home. Thank you for updating us! I know you've had a rough, rough time, and you've shown us all how to be strong and survive. You will know when you are ready for a new furry family member (or two!). They will find you, and it will be as it is meant to be.

How wonderful to see your condo and to know that you are getting settled in your home. So sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. But as you say, we have to go on, and we have to remember.
There's a Full Flower Moon Party on Saturday and I know that all our GAs will be celebrating the full moon, too. Moonie will be on the moon, smiling down on you. She may send you a sign.

Roni!!! great to see you - i've thought of you so many times recently, both because of Moonie and the crazy weather we've got. i'm so glad you're in your house again and moonie's presence lingers on. copper's too, perhaps? the thought in mind over and over this week - "God grant me the serenity to accept those things i cannot change" part of the Serenity Prayer. we like to be in control, but of course, we aren't. i have a hard time letting go of that.

In the right time, another little furry soul will come to you. it's inevitable! :lol:

Glad to hear you're moving onward and upward. So much has happened in your world over the past year. Hoping Moonie will come to you soon - sounds like she's there and you will get to visit with her one day. Good luck to you and yours - here's to starting over! :YMHUG:

(((Roni))) so great seeing a condo from you and hearing that you are back home. How neat that your cousins felt Moonie's presence. She is always with you. I really miss you and Moonie here but so happy to hear things are onward and upward. Your upcoming trip to Aruba sounds so exciting and something to look forward. I'm so sorry about your dear friend. Hi Roni - It's great to hear from you, and wonderful news to hear that the house is done and you love it! And what a warm feeling to know that Moonie is felt in the house. I hope that makes it feel "right". Have a great time on the much-needed vacation!
 
I am so glad to hear that you are back in your house again! It sounds as though Moonie is very much there in spirit with you. I hope for many happier days ahead now - you and Brad deserve it after going through such difficult times. Looking forward to your vacation is a good start! If Moonie sends you another kitty to love one day, it will happen when and if she knows you are ready for it.

We're so happy to hear you are back in your home. It has indeed been a hard year, but you have made it through and are moving on. :-D :-D On the signs that Moonie and Copper are back home too. They too must be so happy to be back!
