OT - some pix of Rojo (new horsie) and hubby

Got some good pix of hubby riding the new horse yesterday. We also went for a nice trail ride today. Stu is still adamant that he doesn't want to show Rojo, and that he is still MY horse thru and thru. That's okay. I"m a little sad but I totally understand where he's coming from, and when he thinks I"m not looking I catch him hugging Rojo so I know he really likes him, just afraid to get too attached. We have a show coming up this next weekend. I"m going to show Rojo in halter and might take him in a western pleasure class myself. Doubt hubby will do it but we'll see. This show is going to be hard since it will be the first arab show we've done since he lost Small Gee. I'll also be taking Harvey for dressage so it will be a busy weekend (hopefully Rupie will cooperate!!!).

love this picture. this horse came to us working in a very tight 'frame', and very tense in his body, unable to relax and stretch. Hubby really gets the best out of whatever he rides - just lets them relax and stretch. This picture, for those that aren't 'horsie'! shows almost perfect form and balance and is the first time I've seen this horse move in such a relaxed fashion:
