Dearest Friends in LL! Today is a Year since Moonie went to the Bridge! We gave her the ultimate gift of love by setting her free from her pain...but our hearts still hurt and we miss her terribly & her brother too.
Just wanted to Thank everyone here who helped us through our 5 year journey. Lantus land is
A place of Hope, kindness, strength and caring unlike anything else..
It helped Moonie live a better life and helped me give her the care she needed with this
Difficult disease...
No we have not gotten any more animals yet!! But we are available for dog & cat sitting and for scritches for our friend & family animals..for now that works.
My Dear husband Brad retired Jan 31st, so I have lots of company..we are traveling more
And will be in Texas next month...I do miss the everyday contact with you here, but we always have Facebook!
Moonie will be there at every party & celebration in LL singing her little heart out from the other side
For all her kitty friends who look up to hear that Heavenly Chorus...

Thank you my dear friends on this journey Moonie & I had here. I will be eternally grateful
Love you all so so much! May your fur babies know only good health..
For you Miss Moonie always always in our hearts!!!

:YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG: . It's wonderful to see you, Roni. I can't believe it has already been a year. We often think of Moonie...what a special, beautiful girl who touched so many all around the world.

How exciting that Brad has retired and you now get to spend more time together - that must be wonderful!

Please feel free to stop by and visit any time...once a member of the LL family, always a member of the LL family!

Hugs,

Amy

You Moonie and Brad will always be a part of our hearts. It really doesn't seem like a year has gone by. We miss you, come and visit more often. :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

Dear Roni & Brad,
The Celestial Chorus will be beautiful tonight. The LL kitties are so looking forward to listening to Moonie and her singers. I know that they will all chime in, especially Rusty, who misses his singing partner.

I, too, can hardly believe that it has been a whole year. I'm so glad that you and Brad are well and happy. Talk to you soon. Have a good trip to Texas.

(((Roni))) ♥♥♥ I can't believe it's been a year ~ I miss your girl, too. I think about you guys often. Congrats to Brad on his retirement. Enjoy your upcoming travels :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

So wonderful to "hear" from you and to know all is well. A year ago, I can hardly believe it....time has wings. We hope all is better for you and your home post-hurricane of the weather and hurricane of the heart. Congrats to DH on retirement and the start of the "2nd chapter"!

I am certain there are special souls out there of the fuzzy variety who will find you and adopt you when the time is right. :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

So many of our sugar babies gone . So many sad anniversaries. You and Moonie were one of the first to visit Alex and I when we first came aboard. It'll be a year for Alex in June. Let's just hope that they are all playing together....I know they must be....and that they talk often about the very happy lives they had when they were here with us and how happy they'll be when we all meet again down the road.

Big Hugs to you :YMHUG:

Roni!!!! so glad to see you!

it's a hard anniversary to have . . . but it was oh so sweet to share Moonie's life with you for these past few years. I have found a feather in the water bowl a couple of times and think of Moonie and Copper. Hurricane Sandy reminds me that of your home and all that you and Brad went through to get re-established.

How nice that you've joined retirement life and get to travel. Keep in touch! :YMHUG: julie

(((Roni))). I have brrn thinking of you and wondering how you and brad are doing. So great to hear he is home more and you are getting to travel. We miss you all and I know Moonie and Copper are always looking down and loving you.

Roni, it's great to hear from you. I know how difficult these anniversaries are but I hope you take a little comfort in that Moonie and Copper are playing together.
I think of you often and hope to hear more of your travels (either here or on Facebook!)

For those that didn't get to know Moonie and her brother, here are a couple of photos of Roni's sweet kitties. ♡♡♡

Roni :YMHUG: :YMHUG: more hugs. It's so good to see a condo from you. I've been thinking of you, too, and kept asking Beans here about you. I remember so well you're finding feathers when one of your babies passed. I, too, found myself looking for feathers from Maggie when she crossed, and did find two and big heart throb. So glad you are enjoying your retirement. Please stay in touch, and Happy Valentine's Day weekend.
Beautiful pics of Moonie and Copper, thanks CD.

Hi Roni - it is hard to imagine that it has been a year.... I miss you guys. You and Moonie were one of the first to welcome me and Mannie to LL. I am to this day grateful for your sticking with us, and all the support. It is good to hear from you. Really nice too to know all is well with both you and Brad.

These anniversaries can be hard. But I expect that you can remember both Moonie and Copper with such fondness.

You take care, and enjoy your travels.
