Hey everyone,
I just wanted to post to tell everyone Hi
Skittles is doing good, still
and no longer walking on his hocks! Only took maybe 2 weeks ( if that long) once I started him on the meds for his legs for it to work. He is still trying hard to get to kona's food, he even jumped from my bed to the top of my book case to get to the food. Now I keep the food on the shelf in my closet! Poor dog, can't eat whenever he wants anymore. I've even forgot to get the food down for him the whole day.
I will be making a appointment to get skittles a dental very soon, hoping by the end of the week. I am very nervous about getting it done but my gosh does he need it, his breath is sooo bad! I am still looking for work, but have gotten some money together for him. I actually need dental care myself, about to lose a tooth if I don't get it fixed but I'm going to use the money I have for my fur baby.
I am so happy that skittles is in remission but that would NOT have happened without the help I got from y'all! If I had been following what his vet said he would still be getting insulin twice a day or worst.... Dead! I had to get kona's monthly heart worm preventative on Thursday so I told them everything about skittles so they could update his chart and they are not happy that he isn't getting his insulin. I need to update his SS, I test him about every other day now. I also need to update my siggy. Oh, he is down to 12 pounds. Got his brother down to 17 pounds ( from the 19 he was )
I hope everyone has a great week,
