OT: Jenny in Lynnwood, WA needs a home

Hi guys - this is completely OT, and I have also posted this in Community, but thought maybe I could here too.

I have been contacted today by my Vet, who has a very special kitty, diabetic, whose owner has just passed away. Other family members are unable to care for her. They are looking for someone who would be willing to adopt her.

Description from my vet is as follows: Jenny lives in Lynnwood Washington and is 11 years old. She has been well-controlled on Lantus twice daily for over a year now. She is almost 11, very beautiful and has a nice personality. There are no other health issues. She is also overweight.

I am uncertain as to how well controlled this kitty is. The office assistant did say that the owner died rather suddenly of aggressive cancer, and due to the nature and physical effects of the cancer that the owner has not been able to meet Jenny''s needs for a while now.

thanks celi - me too. it's a sad situation. I hope they can find her a home. i'm just not sure that i can take in another one... well the vet does have a little time on this one, so maybe this kitty will get lucky.

I hope a home is found, I understand how much this needs bumping, so bump! ;-)

I have a kitty someone abandoned at work I am trying to find a home now. Like I have enough on my plate as it is! :shock:

I hope Jenny finds her forever home; she sounds like such a sweet kitty. Very sad about Jenny's caregiver passing away!
