There are no Safeway stores east of Thunder Bay. When I went looking locally for BD syringes a few years ago, the cheapest was over $40.

I always got my syringes at Walmart at about $37 to $39 a box. Usually found them slightly cheaper than ADW. The $56 original price quoted on ADW now definitely appears inflated to me. Even Shoppers Drug Mart was just over $41 last year. I suppose prices may have changed and the $37 price point is definitely good for this neck of the woods.
