I meant to post this last night....I'm not sure of the availability, but it seems that Entirely Pets has some Feline Duck and Pea PPs in stock. I had placed an order MONTHS ago, before it was announced that these PPs were being discontinued. At that point, though, they were already back ordered at Entirely Pets.

Well, out of the blue, the two packs I ordered way-back-when showed up on my doorstep yesterday! I had gotten e-mail notification that they shipped last Friday; I thought maybe it was a bug in their system since it had been so long since I ordered them. I meant to contact them to find out the deal, but it slieepd my mind. The next thing I knew, I was holding 2 packs of these PPs!

So...you MAY be able to get hold of some feline Duck and Pea PPs through Entirely Pets. I did a quick look on the website, and it did say to call them for availability.

Just wanted you guys to know!

Back to work...condos later tonight!

thanks amy! i bought some of the dog ones back when it got announced they were discontinuing the cat ones because it thought it was all of them. apparently the dog ones are the same no sugar formula, although they are kinda stinky. now punkin's not taking any pills and i have like SIX bags of the giant stinky dog ones. anyone want some? i think we've got enough to cover us for life!

I saw the duck and pea pill pockets back on Greenies webpage but can't find out if they are making them again, or just haven't updated their page. I emailed to ask if these were back in production. We tried the dog ones with Zener and he would eat them most of the time, but never very enthusiastically. We still have a few feline packages left, so alternate these with the dog pill pockets. I'll post when I get a response.

Here's the latest from my email inquiry. It looks like Nutro is not updating their webpage efficiently.

Thank you for contacting THE NUTRO COMPANY. We appreciate your feedback and the time you took out of your day to contact us.

We are thrilled to know that your pet enjoyed Greenies® Pill Pockets®for Cats Low Allergen Duck & Pea Formula. Although this product has gained a loyal following among certain consumers, it has not gained wide acceptance across the American marketplace and has been discontinued. Please be assured that your comments will be shared with our Marketing Staff.

You can try using the Greenies® Pill Pockets for Dogs Low Allergen Duck & Pea Formula for your cat. They are very similar formulas, but do have natural smoke flavoring added to them.

THE NUTRO COMPANY is committed to developing quality products which meet your pet's nutritional needs. Your confidence in our products and continued goodwill are very important to us. Please give us a call at 1-866-GREENIES, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Central Standard time if you would like additional information.

Sincerely,

Josie

Even though these are discontinued, it seems that - for whatever reason - Entirely Pets has (or had) some back in stock this week. Here's the link...I haven't had a chance to call the number to check availability, though. But, since they showed up on my doorstep yesterday, it's possible that maybe there are still some out there to be had...

I also have six bags of the dog ones!!! And Gracie has decided she no longer wants one of her supplements. Of course.

Zener will eat the dog ones, but it's off and on. I imagine it must be the "smoky flavor" that he doesn't like so much. When we recently opened a package of the cat ones, he gobbled them up like I eat chocolate! These have been such a relief to use rather than pilling him that I almost am tempted to try the chicken ones, but the ingredients include corn syrup!
