OT - Decision's Been Made

[Angela & Blackie & 3 Others]

Jr. Mint will be PTS this morning. He's stopped eating entirely, and he's very weak. It's time to let him go, as much as it hurts me to do this. It's the right thing to do, I know this, but it's never easy. He'll be free this morning. My heart is breaking as I type this, and the tears keep flowing. He's 11 1/2 years old. This morning, before DH left for work, he told me to be careful driving. I'll do my best. I know he knows how bad I'm hurting, and I'm sure he wants to be here, but he can't due to work. Oh, God I hurt!!!

Right now, he's enjoying his last moments in the sun that's streaming through the window in the bedroom.

Thank you all for your wonderful words. One of his sisters, Tiny, is beside me, looking out the window at the birds. She's the only one who tries to comfort me in her own little way whenever I'm upset. I hope that nobody minded, but I posted a tribute to Jr. Mint on a condo for him.
