Oscar lost his battle

Sad news that Oscar, age 14 years, lost his battle yesterday. Had to help him cross the rainbow bridge yesterday afternoon. He was fighting diabetes, pancreatitis and a host of other organ problems. We changed his food last week to a very low phosphorus number to help his kidneys and it also helped his glucose number. He was doing so well. Then just started going down hill. Not wanting to eat. Neuropathy again in back legs. Not wanting to leave my chair.

His body was ready to leave this world although we were not ready to see him go. But we loved him so much and could not let him suffer anymore. We are heartbroken

I am so very sorry to hear of Oscar's passing.
My heart goes out to you.
It's so hard to let them go but we don't want them to suffer
I had to let Tyler's brother go 4 years ago due to kidney failure.
Fly high sweet boy you are probably running around now chasing butterflies.
Take care Josette ,I'm sure Oscar knew how much you loved him :bighug::bighug::bighug: :bighug:

I'm so sorry, Josette. How sad, you must be heartbroken. What a beautiful boy Oscar was.
Sending you hugs of comfort and support. May his memory be a blessing to you

My heart breaks for you. Although one of the acts of love it's definitely the hardest to make that decision. May Oscar fly the highest and land softly on the other side of the rainbow bridge. cat_wings>o:rb_icon::bighug:

I'm so sorry to hear of Ocar's passing. He was lucky to have you as his mum, to have your love and care for him.
My heart is with you :bighug:cat_wings>o:bighug:

(((Josette))) So sorry to hear the sad news about Oscar. :bighug::bighug: He knows you loved him, and gave him that final hardest gift of all to give to set him free.
Oscar is now free of pain, running and jumping again like a kitten.cat_wings>o
