Dear All,
Many thanks for all your help and support over the last 12 months. Oscar seemed to handle the diabetes well but the heart condition was too big. Oscar died mid June but each time I tried to write this I got upset, so here it is a month later! I will always be grateful for your help in keeping my furry best friend alive another year. Your website is amazing and it is so nice to talk to people that understand.

I now have a new furry friend called Nina (a Burmese kitten) we could never replace Oscar but the house was so empty we needed someone to care for - I guess?

Once again many thanks.
Hugs Joan

I understand completely! It is so hard and sometimes writing about it just hurts .... he sounded as if he was truly loved and loved back in return.

My heart goes out to you and may Oscar snuggle in your heart always.

Nancy and Payne

Our deepest sympathies in the passing of your beloved Oscar. We can never replace our loved ones, but congrats on your new little girl Nina! May she lighten your heart in your sad times.

I remember you and Oscar, Joan, and your long trips to the vet. I am so sorry you lost your sweet boy. But so glad you have rescued another kitty to love.

I bet Oscar is helping with the integrating of your new kitty. He knows you need a kitty to love. My sincere condolences on his passing. Look closely you just may see him training little one.

Joan,
Sorry to hear about your special Oscar! Perhaps he is now playing with my Dearest Gumpy that just passed this Friday! HUGS TO YOU AND YOUR NEW ADDITION... Mommy and my furry bunch are thinking of adding a new addition as well! House just seems soooo sad right now, tears wont stop from mommy and the other girls are moping around and looking for their sissy!
Again, hugs hugs hugs to ya!

Joan I was so sorry to read this. Oscar beat all the odds, didn't he, with all the hoops you had to jump through to get him diagnosed and cared for. You were an amazing mum to him and I'm sure the extra months he had because of it were so precious to you both. You have my sympathy.

So sorry for your loss. It is so hard to lose a beloved furry friend. He would want you to be happy, and giving another kitty a home is the best way to honor that love.

So sorry to hear about your loss! he will be missed, but I am sure he would want to you adopt a new friend! wings_cat

Just wanted to say thanks for all your condolences. It has always been wonderful to talk to people who understand, not many do!
I will always check in from time to time just to see how you are all doing. I hope I won't need the diabetes advice this time but hey it found me a lot of new friends!
Hugs Joan

I am sorry to hear this. May God bless your little Oscar and you too. I know that he had many wonderful years with you as his parent.
